Rachel & Brandon
Rachel and Brandon have been together for 13 years—and for more than half of that time, they’ve worked side by side. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, they met in high school and have been a team ever since. After college, they headed west to Salt Lake City, and a few years later, made their way to the quiet valley of Velarde, New Mexico, where they’ve lived since 2017. Along the way, they’ve worn a lot of hats—Rachel as a raft guide and hot dog slinger, Brandon as a bus driver, woodworker, and go-to fix-it guy. But through it all, one thing has remained constant: their love for bold, comforting Chicago-style food. Now, they’re turning that passion into a full-time venture that blends their roots with the flavors of the Southwest.
